H.O.P.E. Safehouse, Inc.
(Help for Orphaned Pets through Education)
is a non-profit, all volunteer animal care
organization, a ‘safehouse’ dedicated to the care and re-socialization of lost, injured, neglected, and abandoned pets. Through education and example, we extend the qualities of safety, shelter and compassion to all animals under our care, in our homes, on the streets and in the wild.

| Volunteers |
| Volunteers and Foster Homes are always needed! If you have a special interest, talent or can open your heart and home to a cat or dog needing some extra TLC before being adopted into their forever homes, simply send us an e-mail or give us a call! For more information about volunteering and/or to become a member click here. |
| What We Do |
| HOPE takes in animals that have been abandoned, abused or injured, give them the medical attention they require, and re-home them through adoption. HOPE does not take animals in from the general public, but rather ones that meet the above criteria, or are on death row at the humane societies or animal shelters. |
| Our Goal |
| Our main goal at this time is to build a shelter facility. We have a piece of property, and now need to raise the money to build a state-of-the-art shelter. Our plan is to have less of a “caged” look, and more of a casual, free roaming facility. We would also like to incorporate a program geared towards educating the public in the care and responsibility of owning a pet, including spaying and neutering. For us to take on this task, is like emptying the ocean, one spoonful at a time. |
| How Is HOPE Funded? |
| HOPE Safehouse, is a 501(c)3 charitable organization, and is funded through tax deductable donations and fund raising events. "Our major fundraisers include the Annual "Cause for Paws" Auction & Sweepstakes and "Paw Prints" in which we photograph your pet, with you, alone or with Santa." We also carry a line of t-shirts and sweatshirts that are “Exclusive Designs” of HOPE Safehouse, Inc. |
| Where Do Donations Go? |
| HOPE uses much of the contributions for the medical care of the animals brought into us and to further our educational programs for area residents. Click here if you'd like to make a tax deductable donation. |
